Virginia Ainslie brings more than 28 years of service on behalf of public and non-profit organizations. She specializes in enhancing short and long term federal investment in transportation and environmental infrastructure, medical research and health care, regional economic development, and university development for public and non-profit organizations.
She has assisted members of the U.S. House and Senate in development and passage of authorizing and appropriation legislation securing in excess of $2 billion in federal funding for clients and the States including:
$500 Million for local governments for highway and transit projects
$70 Million to replace and rehabilitate major bridges in Ohio
$40 million for wastewater treatment and sewer projects
$30 Million in defense medical research funding for Cleveland Clinic
$10 Million for Case Western Reserve University Biomedical Facility
Virginia's current clients include: Northeast Ohio Area wide Coordinating Agency, Cleveland MetroHealth System, Lake Erie Nature and Science Center, Beck Center for the Arts, University of Texas at Dallas. In addition, her previous clients include: Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Case Western Reserve University, Build Up Greater Cleveland Infrastructure Partnership, Cleveland Advanced Manufacturing Program, Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Greater Cleveland Growth Association.
Virginia received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Political Science, cum laude from Michigan State University. She has also taken various courses related to federal legislative, regulatory, and budgeting processes at Georgetown University, George Washington University, and the Governmental Affairs Institute.
